About

Johanna Fröjd, is a dance artist, choreographer, curator and teacher based in Stockholm. Above all, she is inspired by house culture with its social and cultural context and aspect. She explores in different fields both on stage, club, jam, battle and studio. Originating in this tradition recent years have revolved around an exploration of repetitive loops and freestyle in music and dance experiences. Through vibration, pulse and rhythm, she search for states where participation, communication and collective celebration is engaged.
